Thomas M. Quinn Appointed as Acting District Attorney to Outgoing Sam Sutter

On December 16th 2013, District Attorney Sam Sutter won a special recall election in the city of Fall River, earning him the position of Mayor. Sutter was sworn in as Mayor of Fall River on Tuesday December 26th and resigned as District Attorney one week later on Tuesday January 2nd 2015. Governor Deval Patrick then appointed First Assistant District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III to serve as Acting District Attorney for the remainder of the term.
