Internships
The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office provides opportunities for unpaid internships for law students and undergraduate students interested in legal work and criminal justice. Certification under Supreme Judicial Court Rule 3:03 is required for potential interns who have completed two years of law school and are interested in an internship as a student prosecutor. Potential interns are responsible for securing their own certification Applications for certification should be processed through the student’s law school.
This office also offers internships to undergraduate students interested in the criminal justice system. Prospective interns should have strong communication and interpersonal skills; display a sincere interest in exploring a career in the law or criminal justice; and must be eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
