Aaron Hernandez Indicted in Connection to Jailhouse Incidents

A Bristol County Grand Jury this afternoon indicted Aaron Hernandez on charges stemming from an alleged assault, which occurred inside the Bristol County House of Corrections in Dartmouth on February 25, 2014, and an alleged threat made inside the same facility on November 1, 2013.
The grand jury today indicted Mr. Hernandez on charges of assault and battery, and threats to do bodily harm.
Mr. Hernandez will be arraigned on these new indictment in the Fall River Justice Center on a future date yet to be set by the court.
The district attorney’s office will have no comment on the indictments prior to the defendant’s arraignments in open court.
