Attleboro Meth Trafficker Sentenced to Prison

A 32-year-old Attleboro Meth-Amphetamine trafficker was sentenced to serve two to three years in state prison last month in Fall River Superior Court, Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III announced.

Timothy Sproul pled guilty to a single count indictment charging him with Trafficking in Excess of 18 Grams of Meth-Amphetamine. 

On November 3, 2021, Attleboro Police executed a search warrant at the defendant’s Leedham Street residence and seized 85 grams of pills that were pressed with meth-amphetamine and packaged for sale, along with digital scales and other indicia of drug dealing.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Matthew Lopes and the state prison sentence was imposed by Judge Valerie Yarashus.

The defendant has previously served county jail sentences for assaultive behavior and larceny of a motor vehicle.

“I am pleased the defendant was held accountable for trafficking meth, which is highly addictive and a potent stimulant that can seriously impact one’s behavior,” District Attorney Quinn said.
