One Attleboro Murder Suspect Arrested in NY; A Second Murder Suspect At Large

Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn and Attleboro Police Chief Kyle Heagney announced that today, Attleboro and Massachusetts State Police Detectives with the assistance of New York City Police have arrested one suspect, and another suspect is actively being sought for the December 4th murder of Thomas Pomare in Attleboro.
Job Williams, 33, of Dorchester, was arrested in the Bronx section of New York City earlier this morning and charged with Murder.
Police are now asking for the public’s assistance in locating Jaquan Cohen, 26, of South Boston. Mr. Cohen has also been charged in Attleboro District Court with the Murder of Mr. Pomare.
A wanted poster and photos of the defendants are attached to this email. A $1,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of Mr. Cohen. The public is urged to not approach or attempt to apprehend Mr. Cohen. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Mr. Williams will be brought to a court in the Bronx where he will be charged as a Fugitive from Justice. It is unclear at this time whether he will waive rendition and be transported back to Massachusetts for arraignment on the murder charge next week or if he will fight the rendition process.
