Individual Involved in Non-Fatal Dartmouth Police Shooting to be Arraigned Today

Ryan Kuphal, 23, of Dartmouth, has been released from Rhode Island Hospital, has Media Advisory:waived rendition in Rhode Island and will be arraigned today in New Bedford District Court.

Mr. Kuphal is charged at this time with domestic assault and battery, use of a motor vehicle without authority, larceny over $250, unarmed robbery of a person over 60 years old, and unarmed carjacking.

Assistant District Attorney Aaron Strojny will handle today’s arraignment.
