Fall River Woman Sought in Connection to Saturday Homicide Turns Herself In To Police; To Be Arraigned Today

Bristol County District Attorney Tom Quinn announced that Adrienne A. Brown, 37, of 477 Third Street, has turned herself in this morning to Fall River Police. Ms. Brown, who was wanted in connection to the Saturday afternoon homicide of 53-year-old Brian Jones, will be arraigned today in Fall River District Court.

Fall River Police received a 911 call regarding a man stabbed outside of 477 Third Street, shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday. Upon arrival at the scene, first responders located the 53-year-old male victim lying outside of 477 Third Street, suffering from apparent stab wounds. The victim, later identified as Mr. Jones, was rushed to St. Anne’s Hospital in Fall River where he succumbed to his injuries and died. The State Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy.

No further information regarding the case will be disseminated prior to Ms. Brown’s arraignment in open court. This office cannot yet disclose the official charges Ms. Brown faces, as the criminal complaints will not officially be filed with the court until she is transported to court for arraignment today.
